A long time ago, in the analog and manual days, I did some photography with the Minolta X-700 and a few years later also with the 9000AF and shortly with 9xi before I sold them all.
Mostly I shot Track and Field events with my own athletes participating. Often with black and white film (sic!) with developing in my own really small lab for the regional daily. Hmmm is it really about me - sounds like a story from grandpa ;-)

Anyway - after many years not even thinking about 'serious' photography I stumbled across the time lapse film "The Mountain" filmed by genius norwegian fotographer Terje Sorgjerd which showing really stunning scences from Tenerife. A few weeeks later in the end of 2011 I was out of pocket but had an Canon 5d MII with 24mm f1.4 and 24-70 f2.8 and a ticket to tenerife. One week of hiking, doing the first timelapse shots and editing the first short film:

It was not the last time I visited this beautiful island and besides shooting timelapse my focus is on landscape, HDR and night photography.
